Cookware Sample Inspection Checklist (Before Bulk Approval)

The sample is the contract in physical form. Inspect it like your business depends on it - because it does.

The 15 checks

  1. Dimensions vs drawing (every critical one)
  2. Weight vs spec
  3. Wall gauge with micrometer
  4. Finish inside/outside vs approved standard
  5. Full-wall cladding verification (rim check)
  6. Handle strength (pull/twist test)
  7. Rivet/weld quality
  8. Lid fit - no rocking
  9. Logo engraving: position, clarity, correctness
  10. Induction hob test
  11. Water boil test (even heating)
  12. Capacity check (fill to brim, measure)
  13. Packaging: box quality, print, barcode scan
  14. Drop test the packed sample
  15. Cook a real meal in it

Approval discipline

Approve in writing with photos of the approved sample ("golden sample") - signed by both sides. Every bulk inspection compares against this, not against memory.
