Total lead time = production (45-60d) + shipping (20-40d) + clearance (7d). For most OEM cookware: reorder at 3-4 months of stock remaining.
Safety stock
Hold 20-30% extra of lead-time demand for hero SKUs. Peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas) need 50%+ - factories and freight both congest.
