Burnt Milk Stains on Triply: Removal That Actually Works

Every Indian kitchen has done it. Here is the rescue that works without destroying the finish.

The rescue (30 min)

  1. Fill with hot water + 2 tbsp baking soda
  2. Simmer 15 minutes - the carbon loosens, not your arm
  3. Scrub with non-scratch pad
  4. Stubborn spots: baking soda + vinegar paste, rest 15 min, scrub
  5. Finish: vinegar wipe for shine, dry immediately

What NOT to do

  • Steel wool on day one: scratches the finish before loosening the stain
  • Bleach: pits steel, doesn’t help carbon
  • Knife/scraper: gouges you’ll see forever

Prevention

Rinse pan with water first, medium heat, stir the first minute. Triply’s even base does the rest - scorching is a heat-management problem, not a pan problem.
